<p>A precoating material for a metal substrate is described which, applied to this and hardened, is adequately extensible. It contains therein a non-compatible lubricant, which on hardening of the coating forms a concentration gradient whose greatest concentration is close to the surface of the coating and remote from the point at which the coating adheres to the metal substrate. As a result of the incorporation of a lubricant of this type, shaping of the coated metal substrate is made easier without loss of the adhesion of the coating. A process is also described in which the above precoating material is used.</p> |
