An extruder head 1 for producing pipes from thermoplastic is provided with an adjustment device which permits the adjustment of the annular die gap 5 between the fixed die mandrel 3 and the die ring 4. To this end the die ring 4 is fixed on the housing 2 of the extruder head 1 so as to be angularly displaceable to a limited extent. The adjustment device acts on the die ring 4 via supporting elements which consist of eccentrics 16a etc. which are mounted rotatably on the extruder head 1 and act via the circumference of an annular body 12 on the die ring 4 with a radial adjustment force component (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
