PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of a blanket cylinder so as not to make occur the application and release of printing pressure during the transfer of ink by a structure wherein a plurality of blankets are installed on the blanket cylinder and at the same time the axis centers of three cylinders ar arranged so as to lie on a straight line in the vertical section along the running direction of a matter to be printed during operation. CONSTITUTION:Both a plate cylinder 39 and an impression cylinder 31 have the same standard outfitted diameter for one sheet. A blanket cylinder 34 is symmetrically equipped with wrapping devices, which are housed in axially extended notched parts 37 and 38 provided thereon, in order ot fix two blankets 35 and 36 thereon. The axis centers 43, 44 and 45 of the three cylinders 31, 34 and 39 lie on a straight line. The optimum intensity of printing pressure and distance between the axis centers of the cylinders differ in accordance with the thickness of a matter to be printed and quality requirements of printing image face and are controlled by shifting the positions of the axis centers of the blanket cylinder and of the mpression cylinder with respect to the position of the axis center of the plate cylinder. |
