PURPOSE:To prevent the solidification of a mineral pellet during the mixing and kneading process, without lowering the phosphorus content of the mineral pellet, by using a specific calcium orthophosphate as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The objective mineral pellet for feed is composed mainly of a calcium orthophosphate having a Ca/P molar ratio of 0.7-0.8. The mineral pellet contains >=70wt% calcium orthophosphate having a Ca/P molar ratio of 0.7-0.8, and the phosphorus content is preferably >=18wt% in terms of phosphorus atom. The above calcium orthophosphate can be produced e.g. by mixing monobasic calcium phosphate with nearly equal amount of dibasic calcium phosphate (the phosphorus content is 19-22wt% and the calcium content is 19-21wt%). |
