<p>PURPOSE:To automate coating with a coating robot by providing an opening fixture equipped with a lock to a door and starting painting with the coating robot when an engaging lever is hooked by the robot and the opening of the door is detected. CONSTITUTION:To coat the inside of the opening part of a door of an automobile, a door opening fixture 5 is provided to the door (d) and a lock and an engaging lever are integrated into the pipe of the casing body. Before an automobile enters into a line, the engaging lever of the door opening fixture 5 is brought down by an operator to unlock the door (d). Consequently, when the automobile enters a coating booth, a coating robot is immediately operated, the door (d) is opened by an arm 21, the opening of the door (d) is detected by a detector 4 to advance the arm 21 into the opening part of the door and coating is carried out. Consequently, coating is automatically carried out irrespective of human negligence.</p> |
