PURPOSE:To obtain an omnidirectional radiation or receiving pattern by arranging two conductive plates with a narrow gap on the same plane and supplying electric power to two opposite points in the longitudinal direction of the gap. CONSTITUTION:Two conductive plates 1, 2 are arranged with a fine gap on the same plane, a slot 3 is formed between the plates 1, 2 and a power supply point 4 is formed between two opposite points separated from one end of the slot 3 by a fixed distance. A magnetic flow is generated in the longitudinal direction of the slot 3, a current flow is generated also on the plates 1, 2 on the basis of potential generated on the slot 3, and the unit acts as a dipole element, i.e. the combination of a slot antenna and a dipole antenna. |
