PURPOSE:To remove the root cause generating a fire, by completely sinking a work part in the water adding a surface-active agent and machining the work part while supplying petrolem, adding an surface-active agent, into a machining gap. CONSTITUTION:In a machining tank 5, to which continually processed new fierproof fluid 23 (water adding a surface-active agent) is circulatively supplied in a condition that the tank is filled with said fluid, the method oppositely places an electrode 4 and a work 6 holding a predetermined gap, jetting machining fluid 24, consisting of petroleum adding a surface-active agent to be mixed, to be supplied little by little to a machining gap so that the fluid 24 continually exists in the machining gap between the both electrode 4 and work 6. In this way, the method, emulsifying the machining fluid 24 outside a machined portion of the work 6 to be mixed with water and prevented from floating on the surface,completely removes the cause of a fire. |
