<p>A multi-stage biological cleaning plant for organically polluted sewage has been designed on modular principles. It consists of two concentric oval basins with the annulus bet between them forming a circulating activated sludge basin. The inner basin has a modular section subdivided into functional spaces for aerobic sludge stabilisation, a partly immersed trickling filter disc and for final settling.</p> |
