摘要 PURPOSE:To execute an exact connection in a short time by providing two optical position detectors, and an X axis driving mechanism and a Y axis driv ing mechanism for comparing signals of an X axis direction and a Y axis direction of both the optical position detectors and moving an optical fiber so that its difference is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:In addition to groups 7a and 8a, and 7b and 8b of a light emitting source and a phototdetecting body for detecting a position in the Y axis direction of an optical fiber, groups 7c and 8c, and 7d and 8d of a light emitting source and a phototdetecting body for detecting a positionin the X axis direction are installed in the direction vertical to said groups. It is a motor 19a that moves the optical fiber in the Y axis direction so that outputs of the phototdetecting bodies 8a, 8b becomes the same, and it is constituted of a moving base 17a, a ball screw 18a and a guide bar 20a. On the other hand, a mechanism for executing an alignment in the X direction of the optical fiber consists of a moving base 17b, a ball screw 18b, a guide bar 20b and a motor 19b. The moving base 17b is connected to a sliding body 26 through a spring body 24, and the sliding body 26 is guided by a supporting body 25 and can be moved in the Z axis direction.
