PURPOSE:To protect data by providing a circuit, which converts data read out from a memory, between the memory and a central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:Data is preliminarily stored in a memory 11, and this data is read out to a central processing unit (CPU)13 through a data converting circuit 12. Read data is processing by the CPU13, and data of contents to be displayed is sent to a solid-state display device 17 through a bus 14, an output interface 15, and a driving circuit 16 and is displayed. Since data read out from the memory 11 is converted by the data converting circuit 12 and is read into the CPU13 in this manner, the use of data in the memory which is copied without permission is ineffective even if data in the memory which is copied without permission is used in another microcomputer system, thus protecting data stored in the memory. |
