PURPOSE:To facilitate time setting operation, to prevent an alarm dial from being rotated with an unexpected external force, and to eliminate variation in alarm set time by providing a time display part, an alarm dial, a rotary lock means, etc. CONSTITUTION:The time display part 4 which has a time scale coincidently with a dial 6 is printed on the outer periphery of the front surface of a front frame part 5. Further, an internal collar part 22 is provided at the inner periphery of the back surface and the alarm dial 2 is arranged at the outer periphery of the front frame part 5 so that the front frame part 5 is put in the alarm dial 2. Further, a clock claw 52 and a saw-tooth engaging part 53 are engaged with each other to constitute a rotary lock means (a), which eliminates the need to rotate the dial 2, so that set time does not vary even if an unexpected force is applied to the dial 2. A time adjusting knob 40 is rotated to move an hour hand 11 and a minute hand 12, adjusting the time correctly. Further, an alarm time is set by aligning the index mark of the dial 2 to a desired set time gradation. |
