PROCESS FOR PRODUCING -OLEFIN POLYMERS

The improved prodn. of alpha-olefin polymers comprises (a) reacting one mol of an organo-Al compd. with 0.1-8 mols of an electron donor in a solvent at -20 to +200 ≦̸C; (b) reacting the obtd. prod. with TiCl4 at 0 - 200≦̸C; (c) reacting 100g of the solid prod. with 10 - 1000 g of an electron donor and 10 - 1000 g of electron acceptor at 40 - 200 ≦̸C; and (d) subjecting the solid prod. to polymerization by contacting with 10 - 5000 g of alphaolefin under atmos. press. w.r.t. 100g of solid pred.
