DISPLAY METHOD OF RADAR IMAGE

PURPOSE:To prevent a target malrecognition rate from increasing by rotating two radar scanners simultaneously so that they are shifted by 180 deg. out of rotary phase and displaying the images of the radar scanners in the respective areas of a display screen at the same time. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and the 2nd radar scanners 1 and 2 equipped with motors 3 and 4 and the 1st and the 2nd transmitter receivers 5 and 6 are arranged closely to each other and also so constituted that they rotate having a 180 deg. rotary phase shift. Analog signals from both transmitter receivers 5 and 6 are converted into digital signals, which are mixed together to display simultaneously images based upon both received signals in areas S1 and S2 obtained by dividing the circular display screen S equally into two. When both radar scanners 1 and 2 rotate while shifting by 180 deg. out of rotary phase from each other, the images based upon both received signals are displayed in the areas S1 and S2 and one radar image is displayed on the screen S. Consequently, the radar image is updated without any decrease in the number of pulse bits per one turn of the radar scanners.
