PURPOSE:A plaster having raised biological use ratio of drug, capable of grasping accurately dosage of drug, easily usable, obtained by blending a drug with water-soluble protein having promoting action on absorption, a polyhydric alcohol, an adhesion imparter, and an oily substance. CONSTITUTION:Preferably (a) 0.05-5wt% drug such as drug of circulatory organs, nervous system, endocrine system, etc. is blended with (b) 10-30wt% water-soluble protein (e.g., gelatin, solubilized collagen, casein, etc.), (c) 10-30wt% polyhydric alcohol (e.g., glycerin, propylene glycol, etc.), (d) 0.5-20wt% adhesion imparter (e.g., cellulose, cellulose, polysaccharide, etc.), and (e) 0.5-15wt% oily substance (e.g., fatty acid ester, lanolin oil, etc.). A soft plaster for external use (soft patch) having skin adhesion by itself. Addition of the water-soluble protein provides improved endermic absorption. The plaster is produced industrially advantageously.
