PURPOSE:To diagnose a plant by providing a program, which traces plant information and displays abnormality messages and causes of abnormality or the like when the plant is abnormal, in a programmable controller (PC). CONSTITUTION:A PC4 connected to a host computer 1 through a station 2 and a bus 3 is programmed by a programming unit 5 having a CRT 6 and a printer 7 and is connected to a plant 9 through a process input/output device 8 and controls the plant 9 and traces and records plant information. If control abnormality occurs, not only control abnormality messages but also causes of abnormality of the like are outputted to the CRT6 or the printer 7, thereby facilitating diagnosing the abnormality of the plant. |
