PURPOSE:To dissolve efficiently a gas in a liquid by generating extremely small gas bubbles by means of violent eddy motion of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:A linear, cylindrical outer shell 2 is arranged by protruding the upper end of its opening 3 opened in the atmosphere of a gas to be mixed from the level of a liquid to be mixed, and a linear, cylindrical, driving body 1 which is inserted into the shell 1 and fitted concentrically thereto throughout its whole length and is driven at a high speed of >=7,000rpm, is provided to the inside of shell 2 having the length larger than that of the shell 2 and the extremely smooth outer peripheral surface. A gap 5 between the body 1 and the shell 2 is set as small as possible within a range that the liquid is able to enter and stay in the gap 5 when the body 1 is driven at high speed. Extremely small gas bubbles are generated by this violent eddy motion to dissolve the gas in the liquid. |
