PURPOSE:To increase the functions of a digital pattern generator by combining a microprogram system and a sequential system. CONSTITUTION:The 1st memory 14 functions as a digital pattern generator of a microprogram system in addition to a clock generator 10, a decoder 16 and a program counter 18 and produces a digital pattern signal through a buffer 32. When a multiplexer MUX24 selects the counter 18, the address of each memory area of a memory 30 is designated by the counter 18. Therefore, the memory 30 substitutes completely an extended memory of the memory 14 in case electronic switches 20 and 26 select the generator 10 and the memory 14, and the MUX24 selects the counter 18. Then a microcode controls up to the memory area. In such a way, independent control is possible with switches 20 and 26 and the MUX24 respectively. This attains various selective combinations. Thus the memory 30 and be applied to various purposes. |
