PURPOSE:To obtain a membrane which permits measurement of Cl<-> in blood, etc. in particular with high accuracy by mixing a solvent, quaternary ammonium salt and epoxy resin hardener with a specific weight ratio of an epoxy resin and vinyl chloride resin and curing the mixture for a number of data of >=20 days within a specific temp. range. CONSTITUTION:The paint prepd. by mixing 40-60wt% hardener for an epoxy resin and quaternary ammonium salt such as trioctyl ammonium chloride, diamyl phthalate which is a solvent for the resin mixture and tetrahydrofuran as a volatile solvent with 100pts. the resin mixture composed of the epoxy resin and vinyl chloride resin within a (8:1)-(1:2) weight ratio range is developed on a ''Teflon(R)'' Petri dish, etc. and is covered to interpose two sheets of filter paper. The volatile solvent is slowly evaporated for 2-3 days and the mixture is transferred into another Petri dish and is dried for >=20 days at 40+ or -5 deg.C in a way that no light is irradiated thereto in a dryer. The stable membrane for the selective electrode having the responce of good linearity with Cl<-> ions and the long ife is thus obtd. |
