PURPOSE:To facilitate air vent by installing, in demountable ways, an air vent means for opening the part close to the oil chamber of a hydraulic housing in an oil feeding passage to the atmosphere, onto the hydraulic housing for accommodating a hydraulic pump for feeding the pressurized oil into a tilt cylinder apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned apparatus, a propulsion unit is installed turnably around a steering rudder shaft onto a tilting bracket supported in vertically tiltable ways onto the stern plate of a hull, and said tilting bracket is tilted by a tilt cylinder apparatus 19. The oil pressure for said tilt cylinder apparatus 19 is supplied from a hydraulic pump 31 which is arranged in an oil chamber 30 formed on a hydraulic housing 18 and driven by an electric motor 32. In this case, an air vent 35A is formed at the position close to the oil chamber 30 of an oil feeding passage 34 which is formed onto the housing 18, for feeding the working oil in a reservoir tank 33 into the oil chamber 30, and said air vent 35A can be closed by a plug 35B. |
