PURPOSE:To form a product by one drawing process and to improve the productivity, by performing the drawing so that beads for making the difference in length of cross-sectional edge lines smaller can be formed at both side end sections of a stepped part. CONSTITUTION:A box fuel inlet panel 1 has a stepped section 3 at a point near its one side end and triangular beads 6 which make the upper central surface 4 and lower one side face 5 of the panel 1 continuous are provided at both side ends of the stepped section 3. The beads 6 are formed when the panel 1 is produced by one time of drawing and, therefore, the difference in length between a cross-sectional edge line 7 at the central part of the panel 1 and the cross-sectional edge line 8 at the stepped section 3 changes in such a way that the difference gradually becomes smaller as going toward the end. Therefore, not so many folds are produced at both side ends of the stepped section 3 and an excellent drawings is obtained, since the difference in length between the cross-sectional edge lines 7 and 8 gradually changes even when the forming is completed by one drawing process.
