PURPOSE:Dew drops or a gas of a specific substance are suspended in a gas mix of steam-containing oxygen and an inert gas and the suspension is irradiated with laser beams to enable low-cost production of fine particles of oxide crystals of high purity in no need of roasting and crushing. CONSTITUTION:First, Pb(NO3)2, La(NO3)3, Zr(NO3)3 and Ti(BnO)4 in tanks 11A, 11B, 11C and 11D, respectively are fed in flask 12 so that a specific atomic ratio is satisfied, and they are mixed with a magnetic stirrer 13 to prepare a mixed solution 14. The solution 14 is atomized, when it passes through piezoelectric nozzle 15 set to the flask 12. The piezoelectric nozzle 15 is provided with a cylindrical piezoelectric oscillator 15b in the glass tube 15a and high-frequency voltage of several hundred kHz - several MHz is applied from terminals 15c and 15d to the oscillator 15b. Thus, the glass tube 15a is allowed to vibrate with ultrasonic frequency to atomize the solution 14. The dew drops are jetted from the nozzle end into the drum reactor 16. |
