SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING TERMINAL EQUIPMENT CONNECTION

PURPOSE:To quicken an information transfer processing and to relieve the load of processing by a host computer by making the interval of a polling signal variable transmitted repeatedly to a communication processor while expecting a reply correspondence from a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A communication processor 2 for information transfer control is inserted between a host computer 1 and plural terminal equipments 3 to form an information processing system. After an information is sent to the terminal equipment 3 via the communication processor 2 from the host computer 1, the time interval of transmitting end character EOT signal from the communication processor 2 to the said host computer 1 is prolonged up to the maximum reply supervising time of the host computer 1 response to the polling signal sent repeatedly to the communication processor 2 while a replay correspondence from the terminal equipment 3 is expected.
