PURPOSE:To prevent a trouble such as an irregular injection, so as to make it possible to regulate the injection rate smoothly, by engraving a lead part, in the linear processing group, on a plunger having a large diameter, and inserting a ring valve in this lead part. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 1 which is driven by a cam 25, is formed of a lower plunger 4 which is bigger in its diameter and an upper plunger 6 which is smaller in its diameter. A lead part 5, in the linear processing group, is engraved on the lower plunger 4, a ring valve 9 is inserted in this lead part 5, and pilot injection is performed by this lower plunger 4. On the other hand, the upper plunger 6 performs the main injection. In this way, a trouble such as an irregular injection can be prevented and the injection rate can be regulated smoothly.
