PURPOSE:To suppress occurrence of an uneven image even if developing temp. is scattered by heating a photosensitive material in the presence of a specified compd. to release a photographic useful reagent. CONSTITUTION:An image is formed with heating in the presence of a compd. represented by formula I in which X is a hydrocarbon group necessary for completing a benzene or naphthalene ring; R is a group convertible into an OH group or a dissociated group in a heating stage; Q is optionally substd. aryl or a group of formula II; TIME is a timing group; PUG is a photographic useful group; and n is 0 or an integer. As said PUG, for example, a fog inhibitor, a development inhibitor, a developing reagent, etc., are enumerated, and above all, the development inhibitor is especially effective. Since the compd. of formula I gradually releases the development inhibitor at the time of heat development, development is stopped without lowering image density, and moreover, compensation performance against image uneveness due to developing temp., is obtained, and image unevenness can be prevented. |
