PURPOSE:To prevent excessive discharge of fuel at the time of starting by closing opening to a fuel nozzle by a valve provided on one end of a lever opening a fuel valve when a diaphragm is pressed by a diaphragm actuating tickler of a diaphragm type carburetor. CONSTITUTION:A tickler 19 operable from outside is provided oppositely to the back face of a diaphragm 10 of a diaphragm type carburetor, and a fuel valve 8 closed normally by a lever 13 pressed by a spring 12 is placed on the surface of the diaphragm 10. In starting of an engine, when the tickler 19 is pressed, the diaphragm 10 rotates the lever 13 to release the fuel valve 8, and the fuel from a tank is put into a fuel chamber 9. A valve 17 for closing fuel opening to nozzles 14, 15 is provided on one end of the lever 13 and in actuating of the tickler 19, a passage to the fuel nozzles is closed, then excessive discharge of fuel from the nozzles can be prevented. |
