PURPOSE:The title forming material that is obtained using specific amounts of glass fiber, organic materials and thermosetting resins, thus enabling the continuous and stabilized production of extruded moldings of high flame retardancy and high heat resistance by means of a specific screw-type extruder. CONSTITUTION:The objective material contains (A) 10-70, preferably 20-60wt% of a glass material such as a glass powder of 10-400mesh particle sizes, (B) less than 4% of an organic material such as paper, pulp, and (C) 20-80, preferably 30-70wt% of a thermosetting resin such as a phenolic resin, when needed, other fillers. The resultant forming material is formed using a screw with a smooth part on its top and setting a dice which is formed with a cylinder of the same inner diameter as the inner diameter of the extruder cylinder and a rod of the same outer diameter as the outer diameter of the screw top at the bottom at the smooth part, so that the formed product can hold its self-form in the dice. |
