PURPOSE:To enable the mass-production of the titled single crystal having little fluctuation of composition and resistant to the lowering of magnetic characteristics, in high rate of conversion to single crystal, at a low cost, by forming a liquid film at the junction of a single crystal ferrite and a polycrystalline ferrite, and heat-treating the ferrites. CONSTITUTION:A liquid film (e.g. a film of B2O3, P2O5, or substance giving B2O3 or P2O5 with heat) is formed at the joint part of a single crystal ferrite and a polycrystalline ferrite, and the ferrites are heat-treated to convert the polycrystalline ferrite to a single crystal ferrite. A large amount of single crystal having low fluctuation of the composition caused by heat-treatment and resistant to the lowering of magnetic characteristics can be produced at a low cost, in extremely high rate of conversion to single crystal. |
