PURPOSE:A gelatinous seasoning composition which is in a gelatinous state at normal temperature, becomes liquid under heating, has no water vapor absorption, is easily handleable, and has a flavor, a fragrance, etc. preservable for along period, obtained by adding a seasoning component into gel. CONSTITUTION:For example, water is blended with a seasoning component (e.g., natural seasoning, chemical seasoning, etc.) and a gelatinizing (preferably carrageenan), to give the aimed gelatinous seasoning composition. Preferably the amount of the seasoning component is 3-45wt% and the amount of the gelatinizing agent is 0.5-1.5wt% based on the total amounts of the gelatinous seasoning composition. |
