Ladder track supporting electrical cables - has holes in rungs for ties securing cables

The edges of the long sides of a metal blank are folded over at 90 deg. to form the sides (1,2) of the ladder track. The extreme edges are then curled over to add further strength and to avoid sharp cutting edges. Large holes (4) are punched out to form the gaps between the rungs (3), the edges (8) of the holes being bent under for the same reasons as the curls on the sides (1,2). Small holes (12) are punched in each rung to allow ties to be used to secure the cables to the rungs.
