PURPOSE:To improve uniformity in output signal level, especially in brightness characteristic, by adopting LSIs in a line shape and arranging the LSIs in parallel with a light receiving element line. CONSTITUTION:An image sensor is composed of a light receiving element line 30, LSIs 2 and a wiring pattern 8 on an insulating substrate 1. Their position relationship is as follows. In the line shaped LSI 2, (n) pieces of light-receiving- element driving electrodes 7 are arranged. A plurality of the LSIs 2 are arranged on one straight line in parallel with the light receiving element line 30 at the side of the light receiving element line 30. In other words, the individual elec trode pads of the light receiving elements are aligned in parallel with the LSIs. Thus the length of the individual electrode of the light receiving element becomes approximately constant, and capacity between the individual electrodes becomes equal. |
