PURPOSE:To automate the mounting of a packing by utilizing an electromagnet by employing the packing in which the outer periphery of a ring-shaped magnetic unit is coated with rubber elastic unit, thereby enhancing the rigidity of the packing. CONSTITUTION:A packing 16 is composed by coating the outer periphery of a steel plate 16a formed in a ring shape with synthetic resin 16b. Moisture can be prevented from invading into a motor from between flanges 12 and 13 by using the thus constructed packing 16 at a load side and between opposite load side flanges 12 and 13, and the mounting of the packing 16 can be readily performed by an automatic machine which uses an electromagnet. |
