PURPOSE:To adjust easily an optical system by providing a coupling cut off mechanism for breaking coupling between a connecting/disconnecting mechanism and a sub-optical system optionally. CONSTITUTION:When the sub-optical system 4 is at complete shunting position or at complete inserting position, the coupling part 27e of a driving member 27 is coupled to the second coupling face 50c. When the driving member 27 is lifted along an axis 10a resisting energizing force of a spring 30 under this condition, coupling of the coupling part 27e to the second coupling face 50c is released, i.e. coupling to a sub-optical system connecting/disconnecting mechanism 27 is released, and it is shifted to a position opposite to the first small diameter face 50e. As the first small diameter face 50e is outside of the oscillation locus of the coupling part 27e, the driving member 27 can be connected or disconnected manually at will. Thus, the sub-optical system 4 can be connected or disconnected independently of the connecting/disconnecting mechanism 27, and the optical system 3 can be adjusted easily.
