<p>PURPOSE:To add visible information on the surface of a portable medium and to facilitate its handling by inputting data to be written in the data memory in the portable medium and visible data to be added on the surface of the portable medium through an input means, and writing the data which are inputted by the input means in the data memory. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 11 indicates to a mechanism control circuit 43 to issue and IC card 1. Then, the mechanism control circuit 43 drives a picker 42 and conveyor rollers 32 and 32 to take one blank IC card 1 out of a stack part 41 and the card is conveyed through a conveyance path 31. The IC card 1 is conveyed by the conveyor rollers 32 on the conveyance path 31 to face a reader writer 34. At this time, respective terminals 2a-2h of the IC card 1 contact respective terminals of the reader writer 34 to make electric connections. The IC card after data storing operation is completed is conveyed again by the conveyor rollers 32 and 32 to pass through a part which faces printing device 35.</p> |
