PURPOSE:To enhance a rotary force by increasing the diameter only at the outside of a rotor member, thereby increasing the effective area of the member without decreasing the strength of supporting a stator winding member. CONSTITUTION:An AC motor has outside stator winding members 4-7, and rotor members 10, 11 made of permanent magnets are disposed oppositely to the windings 4-7. The diameters of the members 10, 11 are increased so as to increase the effective area of the members 10, 11 and to increase the passing magnetic flux. However, the members 10, 11 are increased only at the diameter of the outside to prevent the supporting strength of the members 4-7 from decreasing. |
