<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of external connection terminals and to miniaturize an input device with a high resolution performance by loading plural light emitting elements on a light emitting board, loading further a photodetecting element at the position of a light receiving board corresponding to the light emitting element and setting the input device to a laminated structure that the light emitting surface of each light emitting element is opposite to the back surface of the light receiving surface of each photodetecting element. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting board 30 of the contact-type information input device is constituted with the light emitting substrate 31 loaded by plural light emitting elements 32, and the light receiving board 32 facing the light emitting board 30 is constituted with a light receiving substrate 41 loaded by plural photodetecting elements 42 provided corresponding to the light emitting element 32. A light transmitting hole 43a transmitting the rays of light from the light emitting element 32 is formed between respective photodetecting elements 42 of the light receiving board 41, and the rays of light transmitted through the hole 43a are made incident on a detection subject 50. Then the reflected light beam from the subject 50 is received by the photodetecting element 42, and the subject 50 is detected. The photodetecting element 42 is electrically made in common, and the device is made into the laminated structure where the light emitting surface of the light emitting element 30 faces the back surface of the light receiving surface of the photodetecting element 42, whereby the number of terminals connecting each part is reduced and the input device having the high resolution performance is miniaturized.</p> |
