<p>PURPOSE:To enable even a person not deeply versed in infrared spectroscopic analysis to easily collect a specimen on the site, by adhering a specimen to a tablet which is formed by applying compression molding to the powdery substance having good infrared transmissivity received in a ring shaped reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:A tablet frame 2 and a press rod 5 are placed on a press stand 1 and a reinforcing material 20 such as an aluminum ring is mounted on the press rod 5. Further, alkali halide 21, which was preliminarily finely pulverized and sufficiently dried, is received in said reinforcing material 20 and pressed to obtain the molded body of alkali halide 21 fixed to the reinforcing material 20. Usually, this molded body is preserved in a container receiving a desiccant and taken out if necessary to collect a specimen. In this case, slight amount of the specimen is adhered to the surface of the molded body of alkali halide 21 to be carried back and the measurement of an infrared adsorption spectrum is performed in an analytical chamber.</p> |
