PURPOSE:To reduce the number of temperature sensor by arranging specific temperature sensors at the inlet and outlet end sections of a preheater to be arranged in the way of an engine cooling water circuit then controlling the operation of preheater unit in accordance to the outputs. CONSTITUTION:Upon switching of heater switch 48 to second stage position thus to connect the terminals B, C, PH, power transistor unit 32, etc. will function to drive a preheater fan motor 26, a fuel pump 35 and an ignitor 21, sequentially. Upon start of the preheater unit to detect the temperature rise confirming temperature (about 40 deg.C) through an inlet side temperature sensor 49(11) of preheater 1, a blower motor will run to stop the fuel pump 35 upon detection of first temperature (about 78 deg.C). The fuel pump 35 is also stopped upon detection of second control temperature (about 98 deg.C) through an outlet side water temperature sensor 50(12), to stop the fan motor 26 upon elapse of predetermined time. |
