发明名称 PLASTIC LENS MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To high-refractive index plastic lens material excellent in transmittance to visible light, processability, impact resistance, dyeability, etc., obtained by copolymerizing dimethallyl phthalate with a polyalkylene glycol di(meth)- acrylate. CONSTITUTION:The purpose three-dimensionally crosslinked plastic lens material having a refractive index >=1.55 is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer (A) selected from among dimethallyl orthophthalate, dimethallyl isophthalate and dimethallyl terephthalate with a monomer (B) represented by the formula (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or methyl and n is 1-10) in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator (e.g., benzoyl peroxide). The amount of component B used is suitably 0.5-30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. component A. Examples of components B include diethylene glycol dimethacrylate and nonapropylene glycol diacrylate.
