PURPOSE:To quicken the end detection of a service channel by providing an end of call supervisory timer having a prescribed function. CONSTITUTION:When non-talking state continues over the 1st time to the 2nd time set optionally, a non-talking detection section 43 of an end of call supervisory timer 44 discriminates an end of call and outputs an end of call signal. Then the non-talking detection section 43 detects the presence of talking and sends the result of detection to the timer 44. The timer 44 applies a prescribed end of call supervision and informs the result to a control section 45 by using an end of call signal. The control section 45 turns off a connection switch 42 and a transmission section 46 to stop the transmission. Thus, the end detection of the service channel is quickened. |
