PURPOSE:To attain image pickup with normal white balance by comparing an output of an automatic white balance means and an output of a color temperature detecting means of a lighting light source of an object and notifying the compared output. CONSTITUTION:An object image picked up by an optical system 1 is photoelectric- converted by an image pickup tube 2 and amplified, a luminance signal and a chrominance signal are processed by process circuits 9-12 via LPFs 4, 5, a color separation circuit 6 and LPFs 7, 8 respectively, the luminance component Y is inputted to an encoder ENA and the luminance component YL and color components R, B are inputted to a matrix circuit 13. The color difference signal being the output of the circuit 13 is inputted to the ENA14 and an automatic white balance circuit 15. The circuit 15 outputs gain control voltages Vc, Bc to control the gain of the circuits 11, 12 thereby bringing the level of the color signal to 0 level. On the other hand, the color temperature of the R, B components around the object obtained from a diffusion plate 17 is detected (20) and reference voltages RR, BR are compared with the voltages RC, BC by a comparator circuit 22. The circuit 22 outputs an alarm signal Sc when the difference of both the voltages exceed a prescribed value and displays it on a display device 23. |
