PURPOSE:To absorb shock by inserting a rope in zigzag in a groove formed by a casing and a partition member to utilize friction between the rope and the groove. CONSTITUTION:Side plates 2 having an inserting groove 2a for a rope (a) are disposed on both longitudinal end portions of a base plate 1 semicircular in section, and partition plates 3 are arranged side by side at fixed intervals between the side plates. The rope (a) is inserted in the inserting groove 2a of the side plate 2 of the base plate and the rope (a) is wrapped round a spherical portion 3a of the partition member 3 to lie in zigzag. If shock is applied to the rope (a), the shock is absorbed by frictional force produced when the rope (a) passes the groove formed by the base plate 1, the partition member 3 and an upper cover 4. |
