PURPOSE:To obtain a cured layer which has excellent durability, wear resistance and surface properties and gives a magnetic layer having excellent travelability, by adding an aliph. isocyanate to a compsn. for the formation of a cured layer and then adding an arom. isocyanate thereto. CONSTITUTION:1-20pts.wt. aliph. isocyanate (A) having an MW of pref. 100-3,000 (e.g. a compd. of formula I) is added to a cured layer forming compsn. (B) such as a mixture of a magnetic powder, a binder resin, various additives and an org. solvent. 100pts.wt. arom. isocyanate (C) having an MW of pref. 100-3,000 (e.g. a compd. of formula II) is then added thereto in a proportion of 1-100wt% of (A+C) based on the quantity of the binder resin. Alternatively, a mixture of components A and C may be added to component B.
