A water saving toilet system comprises a bowl with a discharge port at the bottom of the bowl, means for supplying flush water to the top of the bowl, a discharge pump having an intake side connected with the discharge port via duct, means designed to maintain a predetermined level of water in the bowl, a discharge side adapted to be connected to a waste pipe, and control means for controlling operator of the discharge pump. The control means comprises timing device to stop the apparatus for effecting hydraulic attrition after stopping the discharge pump.
