PURPOSE:To always obtain an appropriate copying image by constituting a titled device so that a separated distance between an electrostatic image holding member and a developer holding member can be controlled. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic image holding member 1 is constituted by forming a photoconductive layer 3 on the surface of a conductive supporting layer 2, and rotated at a prescribed speed. A developer holding member 4 has a non-magnetic conductivity, and it is rotated in the same direction as the electrostatic image holding member 1. Also, a magnetic roll 5 contained in this developer holding member 4 is rotated in the direction opposite to the developer holding member 4. An elliptical spacer ring for determining a separated distance between the electrostatic image holding member 1 and the developer holding member 4 is attached to both ends of the axial direction of the developer holding member 4. |
