PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the work efficiency by indicating a use language by a language switching indicating means, reading it out selectively from a language memory, and executing a display to a display part by this language. CONSTITUTION:A numerical controller 1 has a main control part 2, to which an input operating part 3 of a keyboard, etc., a language memory 5, and a display part 6 of a display etc. This input operating part 3 is provided with a language changeover switch 7 of a rotary type, and (n)+1 pieces of languages of L0-Ln can be selected by switching said switch. In this state, before starting an operation, the language to be used is indicated to the main control part 2 by the switch 7. The main control part 2 retrieves the language memory 5 and reads out the indicated language, and displays the subsequent various indications on the display part 6, based on said read-out language. |
