PURPOSE:To simplify and make call operation efficient by calling sequentially nearby called parties until an object called party replies in an automatic telephone exchange. CONSTITUTION:A caller SUB-A uses a special number of the abbreviated dial service to register plural called parties SUB-B-SUB-D to a storage device M with the same abbreviated dial number. When the caller SUB-A dials the abbreviated dial number, the information is transferred to a central controller CC to call the called party SUB-B. When the SUB-B does not reply or is busy for a prescribed time, the called party SUB-C set as the 2nd is called. Thus, the called parties SUB-B-SUB-D registered in the same abbreviated dial num ber are called sequentially until any of them replies. |
