PURPOSE:To make a decorative member glitter even in a dark condition such as, for example, during the night time, by securing a transparent synthetic resin outer skin layer member on a resin molding substrate, and by disposing brightening fiber decorative members between the outer skin layer member and the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A decorative molding 10 is composed of a molding substrate 1 attached to a vehicle body and an outer skin layer member 3 secured to the substrate 1. Further, brightening fiber decorative members 2a, 2b are disposed between the substrate 1 and the outer skin layer member 3. In this arrangement both substrate 1 and outer skin layer member 3 are also made of resin. Further, the substrate 1 is colored to conseal a member for attaching the molding to the vehicle body, which is arranged on the bottom surface of the substrate 1, while the outer skin layer member 3 is transparent to make the decorative members 2a, 2b visible from the outside. Further, the decorative members 2a, 2b are laid along the longitudinal direction of the decorative molding 10 in two stripe shapes. With this arrangement, the decorative members 2a, 2b glitter even in the dark condition such as, for example, during the nighttime, etc., it is possible to enhance the display function thereof. |
