PURPOSE:To obtain a stable voltage-frequency converter with a simple circuit by providing a voltage-pulse rate converting circuit changing the rate of passing reference pulse depending on an output voltage of an error amplifier. CONSTITUTION:When the rate of passing pulse of the voltage-pulse rate converting circuit 21 depends on an output voltage V, an error amplifier 16 rises or lowers own output voltage V as far as an error voltage exists at its input terminal. As a result, when the error voltage at the input terminal of the amplifier 16 is zero, the balance of the system is expressed in equation, where DON is an on-duty of a switch SW2, which is given as a product between a duty cycle Dr of a reference pulse Pr to the converting circuit 21 and a passing rate Tr of the converting circuit 21. Further, an output frequency F0 of the converting circuit 21 is given as a product between the reference frequency fr of the pulse generating circuit 19 and the passing rate Tr. Thus, the output frequency F0 is proportional to an input voltage ei. |
