PURPOSE:To display a language which has been divided correctly into words, as an unregistered word, by determining and displaying a range of as an unregistered word from a connecting relation of its word, even if it is decided to be an unregistered word by a form element analysis. CONSTITUTION:An unregistered word deciding device 6 extracts 'noun + m + particle' as connecting information for decision from a relation of a part of speech before and after a temporary part of speech (m) of an unregistered word which has been transferred. Subsequently, the unregistered word deciding device 6 retrieves an unregistered word decision table storage part 7 by using the connection information 'noun + m + particle'. As a result of retrieval, the unregistered word deciding device 6 discriminates a fact that a range of the unrgistered word which is stored in the unregistered word decision table storage part 7 in accordance with a state of its unregistered word and is to be displayed to an operator is 'noun + m'. As a result, from the unregistered word deciding device 6, a word corresponding to its part of speech is outputted as an unregistered word to a display device 8.
