PURPOSE:To damp the pitching in back/fro direction when stopping by varying the modulus of elasticity of a resilient member for supporting the body with correspondence to a decelerating condition signal while controlling to maximize upon droppage of car speed below predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:A resilient member 10 such as a springboard, a coil spring, a gas spring, etc. for buffering the vibration transmitted from the pavement to the wheel is provided such that the modulus of elasticity can be regulated through constant regulation means 20. Said means 20 is controlled through a controller 30 comprised of decelerating condition detecting means 31 for detecting a physical quantity concerning to the deceleration of body, a car speed detector 33 and a control section 35. The control section 35 will produce a control signal for varying said modulus of elasticity with correspondence to a decelerating condition signal from the decelerating condition detector 31 while produce a control signal for maximizing the modulus of elasticity upon droppage of the car speed signal below predetermined level. |
